Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) is a highly respected hospital-based healthcare system and multispecialty group in Connecticut. We are seeking an experienced neonatology physician assistant to join our talented team of healthcare professionals in our modern inpatient Neonatology Intensive Care Unit NICU/Family Birthing Center in Manchester. In this full-time position, you will enjoy working alongside a collaborative community of clinical providers. You are responsible for delivering comprehensive quality care standards of practice to newborn, term or sick infants during the neonatal period. The Family Birthing Center is affiliated with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center neonatologists who provide special care for newborns.


ECHN is an extraordinary community health system comprised of more than 300 active medical staff members with two acute-care hospitals, a skilled/subacute facility, home care agency, a comprehensive cancer center and multiple outpatient services centers. It has a prominent family medicine residency program, the latest in robotic surgical systems including the new Mako robotic assisted knee/hip replacement system and the Xi da Vinci robot, along with highly regarded programs including the ECHN Center for Weight Loss and the Women’s Center for Wellness.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Two years’ experience in a Level I or Level II neonatal intensive care unit required.
  • Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program
  • Current Connecticut license (or in process)
  • Federal DEA and Connecticut controlled substance registration (or in process)
