Summary

Waterbury Health is looking for a motivated Ortho Physician Assistant to join the Bone Health Practice in Middlebury, Connecticut either per diem or part-time.   We are looking for strong communication and interpersonal skills, clinical judgment, and ability to work in a team environment.

Waterbury Hospital Orthopedic fracture and trauma specialists work closely with the Bone Health Center to coordinate a patient’s osteoporosis care through acute fracture services, reconstruction and rehabilitation.

The Fracture Liaison Service identifies patients who have suffered a fracture due to osteoporosis, initiates patient care, and coordinates further treatment. The outpatient Bone Health Center then recommends personalized treatment based on individual bone density and laboratory testing as well as comprehensive evaluations.

As one of the only Bone Health Centers in Connecticut, Waterbury Health is ensuring post-fracture care for high-risk patients.
