Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) is seeking a talented physician leader to join its highly regarded and expanding family medicine residency program, the only program in Connecticut (CT) east of the river. The program is sponsored by Manchester Memorial Hospital, with an outstanding community-focused clinical site for residents /medical students to train. The
physician leader will serve as the director of the family medicine residency program, which is a fully ACGME-accredited 8-8-8 unopposed community family medicine program anchored by a stellar academic and collaborative faculty physician team. The director will possess a passion and commitment to guide faculty and residents in a supportive teaching environment while supervising the residency coordinator. The director is responsible for the oversight maintenance of the accreditation and daily administration of the residency program with general physician duties. You will enjoy working Monday through Friday daytime hours with extremely light call coverage alongside an exceptional collegial physician faculty.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Medical degree (MD/DO) with preferred previous academic program director experience
  • Minimum of five years of clinical, educational, and administrative experience
  • Board certified or (soon eligible for CT) Federal DEA/Connecticut controlled substance (soon eligible)
