Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/APRN (No Call and No Weekends)

POSITION SUMMARY

Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) is seeking a  full-time Gastroenterology (GI) Nurse Practitioner/APRN to work in its well-established outpatient/hospital employed practice in Manchester, Connecticut. You will enjoy working with both a collaborative top talent physician team with and an experienced GI Nurse Practitioner/APRN Monday through Friday (daytime practice hours) - no call coverage and no weekends.

ECHN is an extraordinary community health system comprised of more than 300 active medical staff members with two acute-care hospitals, a skilled/subacute facility, home care agency, a comprehensive cancer center and multiple outpatient services centers. It has a prominent family medicine residency program, the latest in robotic surgical systems including the new Mako robotic assisted knee/hip replacement system and the Xi da Vinci robot along with highly regarded programs including the ECHN Center for Weight Loss and the Women’s Center for Wellness.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Graduate advanced degree of an accredited nurse practitioner program (or soon eligible)
• Active Connecticut nurse practitioner license (or soon eligible)
• Federal DEA and Connecticut controlled substance registration (or soon eligible
• Prefer one or more years of experience in a G.I. setting preferred
