Eastern Connecticut Health Network, a hospital health system based in Manchester, Connecticut, is seeking a full-time adult outpatient psychiatrist to join its highly talented team of physicians and social workers in Manchester, Conn. We are looking for a physician who is clinically successful and puts patient care at the forefront. In this position, you will enjoy working alongside a collaborative team Monday through Friday during normal practice business hours. The psychiatrist will provide quality healthcare to an adult outpatient population which includes partial hospital and intensive outpatient programs. Call coverage is pager only and is shared on a rotated scheduled basis.
 
ECHN is a community health system comprised of more than 300 active medical staff members with two acute-care hospitals, a skilled/subacute facility, home care agency, a comprehensive cancer center and multiple outpatient services centers. It has a prominent family medicine residency program, the latest in robotic surgical systems including the new Mako robotic assisted knee/hip replacement system and the Xi daVinci robot along with highly regarded programs including the ECHN Center for Weight Loss and the Women’s Center for Wellness.

CLINICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) and residency training in psychiatry
• Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry (or eligible)
• Connecticut licensed (or eligible)
• Federal DEA/Connecticut controlled substance licensed (or eligible)
