Roger Williams Medical Center (RWMC), a subsidiary of CharterCARE, is seeking a full-time Geriatric Physician to join its collaborative team of four physicians and three nurse practitioners/APRNs located in Providence, Rhode Island. You will enjoy working alongside this highly talented team of healthcare providers Monday through Friday during daytime business hours, with shared rotation beeper call coverage.
 
We provide our patients with seamless access to a wide range of physician specialists and outpatient and acute care services at RWMC and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, as well as to specialized cancer, elder health, surgical, rehabilitation and home care services. RWMC and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital are two exceptional community hospitals comprised of more than 400 beds and 550 medical staff members. RWMC, which is an acute-care hospital affiliate of CharterCARE Health, is also a well-respected leader in academic research. Its academic program, which precepts internal medicine students from Brown University and Boston University, has an exceptional transition rate from internal medicine to fellowship.

CLINICAL EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Geriatric Medicine license (or soon eligible) in the state of Rhode Island
• Current Federal DEA and Rhode Island controlled-substance license (or eligible)
