Roger Williams Medical Center (RWMC), a subsidiary of CharterCARE, is seeking a full-time in-patient Geriatric Psychiatrist to join its collaborative team of physicians in Providence, Rhode Island. CharterCARE is comprised of two exceptional community hospitals that combine for more than 400 beds and 550 medical staff members. RWMC is a well-respected leader in academic research and exceptional university-affiliated teaching hospital that features 24 psychiatry beds and 15 addiction medicine beds. RWMC is also a leader in academic research. Its academic program, which precepts internal medicine students from Brown University and Boston University, has an exceptional transition rate from internal medicine to fellowship.
In this role you will enjoy all the benefits of working in an inpatient position within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and behavioral healthcare providers. The daytime work schedule is Monday through Friday; with shared rotation call coverage of 1:5 that supports both the Emergency Room and Inpatient Units.

CLINICAL EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical degree (MD or DO)
- Fellowship trained in Geriatric psychiatry
- Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry (or eligible) and Rhode Island (or eligible)
- Federal DEA/Rhode Island controlled substance licensed (or eligible)
